Senior Embedded Software Engineer – AUTOSAR, CAN/UDS & Diagnostics

About the role

Join the team to develop, configure, and integrate Basic Software (BSW) for automotive ECUs in an AUTOSAR Classic environment. You will work on communication, diagnostics, and ECU system management, collaborating with hardware and MCAL teams.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW modules, focusing on communication (CAN/CAN‑FD), diagnostics (UDS, DCM, DEM) and system management.
• Perform software generation, integration, and verification using tools such as DaVinci, CANape, and Polarion.
• Execute unit and integration testing, analyze results, and debug target‑based software.
• Maintain traceability of requirements and changes through Polarion and Git.
• Document development, configuration, testing, and issue‑resolution activities.

Required profile

• Master’s or Engineering degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics, or related field.
• Initial experience in embedded software development or testing, preferably in automotive.
• Fluent in French and English.

Required skills

• AUTOSAR Classic concepts and BSW layer.
• C programming for microcontrollers.
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN‑FD, UDS.
• AUTOSAR communication and diagnostic stacks: COM, DCM, DEM.
• Tools: DaVinci, CANape, XCP, MCAL, Git, Polarion.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE is a plus.
