Senior Java Software & Cloud Engineer

About the role

Imedia24 GmbH is looking for a Senior Java Software & Cloud Engineer to join its international team. You will focus on automating cloud‑based processes across the full development lifecycle, delivering robust solutions in AWS and GCP environments while collaborating with a fast‑moving, flat‑hierarchy team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated workflows for cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Create proof‑of‑concept automation implementations and evaluate new cloud automation tools.
• Write clean, well‑documented code for backend services (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend interfaces (React.js, NextJS).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines and Agile ceremonies.
• Gather user feedback, propose innovative automation ideas and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Strong background in software engineering, web development and cloud automation.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Passion for staying current with programming trends and cloud technologies.
• Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
