Senior Manager, Transformation Project Management

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a complex, global transformation initiative. The role is part of the Transformation Development team, which delivers high‑impact projects across systems implementation, process re‑engineering, data, and artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project management for a global transformation initiative, ensuring delivery is planned, governed, and executed to the highest standards.
• Develop and maintain core project artefacts such as the Project Assurance Plan, Project Brief, and detailed Project Plan.
• Manage scheduling, risk and issue registers, dependency tracking, and status reporting to provide visibility for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic planning, work‑stream sequencing, and resolution of cross‑cutting risks and dependencies.
• Support governance, escalation, and decision‑making in partnership with the Project Lead.
• Act as a key integration point across the project team, collaborating closely with Business Analysts, Global Change Managers, and relevant business functions.
• Engage a diverse range of stakeholders, including Country Offices and Members, ensuring their perspectives are incorporated and they are prepared for implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale, global transformation projects.
• Strong ability to manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with cross‑functional and international teams.
• Flexibility to redeploy to different initiatives as portfolio priorities evolve.
• Senior‑level leadership and decision‑making capability.
