Senior Program Engineer

About the role

Hexcel is seeking a Senior Program Engineer to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Work Package Transfer (WPT) initiatives at its Casablanca facility. The role bridges engineering, sales, and operations to ensure new products are launched efficiently and meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor robust NPI and WPT plans across Hexcel’s core facilities.
• Identify, assess and track project risks and issues, coordinating mitigation actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide structured reporting on project progress, performance and milestones to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage change‑control processes within NPI and WPT programs to ensure procedural compliance.
• Lead tooling management activities from a Sales & Marketing perspective.
• Coordinate and lead customer visits related to NPI and WPT projects.
• Drive rate‑readiness activities to prepare for production ramp‑up.
• Support forecast and order‑book management, aligning business cases with operational goals.
• Contribute to Sales & Marketing processes such as SIOP, STRAP and Plan & Latest Estimate reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR and other functions, define KPIs and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of program or project management experience, preferably in industrial or aerospace environments.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects in a matrix organization.
• Experience working with external stakeholders such as customers or suppliers.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (strong advantage).
• Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and willingness to travel internationally.
