Senior Python Developer – FastAPI & AWS (Short‑term)

About the role

Intetics Inc. is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a short‑term engagement. You will work closely with the CTO and founding engineer to build high‑performance back‑end services that power complex workflows and large‑language‑model applications on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior technical leadership and product teams to define and deliver backend features.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python/FastAPI services exposing robust REST APIs.
• Utilize AWS services—including Lambda and Step Functions—to implement a scalable workflow engine.
• Build and support backend components for large‑language‑model applications hosted on AWS.
• Partner with front‑end engineers and product managers to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of functionality.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proficiency with REST frameworks such as FastAPI (preferred), Django, or Flask.
• Strong understanding of ORM, data modeling, and related tools (SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Pydantic).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and general AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools like CDK or Terraform is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in test‑driven development using frameworks such as pyTest.
• Self‑motivated, accountable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
