Senior Service Sales Engineer

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Service Sales Engineer to drive growth across the region by shaping and executing service sales strategies. You will promote a strong portfolio covering High Voltage, Transformer, and Substation Services, delivering value‑driven solutions to customers in utilities, power generation, oil & gas, EPCs, and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Drive service sales and business development across key markets, identifying and pursuing new opportunities from prospecting to contract closure.
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding business drivers and aligning solutions with long‑term goals.
• Analyze installed base to identify growth opportunities, support lifecycle extension, and promote upgrades, digitalisation, and circular‑economy initiatives.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans with revenue targets, growth priorities, and executive engagement.
• Present a comprehensive service portfolio covering installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, retrofit, and digital services.
• Monitor market trends, represent the organization in customer engagements and industry forums, and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in service sales with strong customer relationship skills.
• Good understanding of Hitachi Energy systems and products.
• Experience within the energy sector.
• Strong commercial, technical, and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with a strategic, results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Emirati nationals preferred and willingness to travel across assigned countries.
