Simulation Engineer – Crash (m/f/d)

About the role

Bertrandt is seeking a motivated Simulation Engineer to join its crash analysis team in Rabat. You will be responsible for creating and adapting vehicle crash simulation models, supporting the development process from concept to series production, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify simulation models using ANSA, LS‑DYNA, PAM‑CRASH, Animator and custom tools.
• Operate simulation data management systems such as LoCo.
• Perform, validate, and document crash and occupant safety calculations.
• Present results and coordinate with customers, project managers and other development partners.
• Propose and implement optimisation measures throughout the vehicle development cycle.
• Collaborate with design, testing and other cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Technical or scientific degree in automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in FEM‑based crash simulation (preferably LS‑DYNA or PAM‑CRASH).
• Familiarity with SDM tools such as LoCo is a plus.
• Programming knowledge (e.g., TCL, Python, Bash) is advantageous.
• Independent, structured work style with strong analytical abilities.
• Business‑fluent English and good communication skills.
