Software Architect / System Designer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect / Full‑Stack Developer who thinks like a Systems Designer. You will join our fully remote team, designing data models, system architecture and AI‑first solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own system design, including data modeling, state management, component interaction and behavior under load.
• Design and implement data layer from scratch: tables, relationships, indexing, and query optimization.
• Design queues, background jobs and long‑running workflows that remain reliable under heavy load and partial failures.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, stack direction and overall product vision.

Required profile

• Strong systems‑design background with ability to design databases from scratch and reason about load and performance.
• Experience thinking about consistency, throughput, failure modes and bottlenecks.
• Comfort designing queues, background jobs and long‑running workflows.
• Reliability, scalability and maintainability as default concerns; familiarity with “Designing Data‑Intensive Applications”.
• Solid English communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
