Software Engineer MAUI/Blazor

About the role

Forterro is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in .NET MAUI and Blazor to design, develop, and optimise cross‑platform applications. You will work within a collaborative engineering team, turning business requirements into high‑quality software that supports the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Convert functional requirements into well‑structured, maintainable code for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Design, develop, and test .NET MAUI applications for iOS and Android, integrating platform‑specific APIs such as sensors and camera.
• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring robust communication with backend services.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and system architecture.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and QA teams to deliver solutions that meet specifications.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering high‑quality software in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Required skills

• .NET MAUI framework with C#.
• Cross‑platform mobile development for iOS and Android.
• RESTful API integration.
• Object‑oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• .NET 8 or later.
• Git source‑control.
• Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Web API development, WinForms, DevExpress components, and performance profiling.
