Strategic Buyer – New Product Introduction (NPI)

About the role

Eaton’s Electrical division is looking for an experienced NPI Strategic Buyer to support new product introductions, industrialization, and production activities in Casablanca. You will work closely with engineering, operations, quality, logistics and category managers to ensure sourcing feasibility, material readiness and supplier execution throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supply‑chain support for NPI and industrial transitions, aligning quality, cost and timeline targets.
• Drive early supplier selection, validate material, capacity and lead‑time feasibility.
• Manage SAP supplier setup, ramp‑up, volume changes, and phase‑out activities with minimal risk.
• Coordinate CAPEX/CAR, define MOQ, packaging and labeling requirements.
• Execute negotiations, monitor spend versus targets and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance (OTR/OTP), resolve escalations and support lifecycle changes.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Logistics and Engineering to make sourcing and industrialization decisions.
• Transition ownership to Operational Procurement after stabilization and KPI achievement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field (preferably Electrical/Electronics).
• 8‑10 years of professional experience, including 4+ years in electrical & electronic components procurement.
• Proven experience in strategic and tactical sourcing, supplier escalation management and shortage mitigation.
• Fluent in English and French with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Project.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Procurement Execution (SAP MM/PP).
• Knowledge of Kinaxis (a plus).
• Understanding of manufacturing technologies and supply‑chain processes.
