Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the end‑to‑end inbound and outbound logistics operations across Harmattan AI’s manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Manager, the role works autonomously to manage freight flows, customs compliance, dangerous‑goods handling and international trade requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own inbound freight flows: booking, tracking, customs clearance and goods receipt for components, materials and equipment.
• Maintain supplier and forwarder relationships to resolve delays and protect production schedules.
• Process import documentation, verify HS/CN classifications and coordinate with customs brokers.
• Manage outbound shipments to customers, integrators, programme offices and trade events, including export documentation and proof of delivery.
• Handle temporary export regimes, ATA carnets and dual‑use export control assessments.
• Classify, prepare and document dangerous‑goods shipments under ADR, IATA DGR and IMDG regulations.
• Monitor freight partner compliance with dangerous‑goods handling standards and raise issues as needed.

Required profile

• Significant senior operational experience in logistics, preferably with regulated or specialised goods.
• Ability to work independently, make routine decisions and escalate complex issues with clear context.
• Strong judgement in handling customs, trade compliance and dangerous‑goods regulations.

Required skills

• Freight booking and tracking systems.
• Customs clearance coordination and HS/CN code classification.
• Export documentation preparation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, export declarations, end‑user certificates).
• Dangerous‑goods classification under ADR, IATA DGR and IMDG.
• Knowledge of dual‑use export control requirements.
• ATA carnet management for demonstration and event shipments.
