Team Leader – Health, Safety, Environment & Energy (HSEE)

About the role

LEONI is seeking an experienced Team Leader for Health, Safety, Environment and Energy (HSEE) to head its HSEE function at the Bouskoura site in Morocco. You will be responsible for shaping and maintaining a robust safety culture while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise the HSEE team, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Develop, implement and maintain HSEE policies, procedures and programs aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analyses, and implement appropriate control measures.
• Investigate workplace incidents, analyse root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with Moroccan labour laws, environmental regulations and international standards such as ISO 45001 and OHSAS.
• Monitor energy consumption and environmental impact, identifying opportunities for efficiency and sustainability.
• Maintain accurate HSEE documentation, records and databases in line with regulatory obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in HSEE or occupational health and safety management.
• Proven experience leading HSEE teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan labour laws, environmental regulations and international HSEE standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data.
