Technicien de maintenance – production automobile

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure the availability and reliability of automotive production equipment at our Tangier plant. The role involves preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on wiring harness machines and automated lines while adhering to safety, quality and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on wiring harness production machines, automated equipment and End‑of‑Line systems (cameras, sensors, vision and fiber‑optic devices).
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automation failures, focusing on cable cutting, stripping, crimping and connector assembly.
• Analyse breakdowns using root‑cause methods (5 Why, Ishikawa) and implement corrective actions.
• Record maintenance activities, work orders, spare‑part usage and preventive plans in SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Support production start‑ups, change‑overs and ramp‑ups to guarantee process stability and compliance with IATF 16949 and customer‑specific quality standards.
• Promote 5S, TPM and continuous‑improvement initiatives and collaborate with production, quality and industrial‑engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bac+2 (or equivalent) in electromechanics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or industrial engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems and experience with PLCs, preferably Siemens.
• Familiarity with workstations and End‑of‑Line equipment such as cameras, sensors and fiber optics.
• Experience using SAP PM for preventive and corrective maintenance.
