Accountant & Advisory Associate

About the role

Orbiss is seeking a motivated Accountant & Advisory Associate to join its fast‑growing advisory and tax team. You will support international SMEs operating in the United States by handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and contributing to month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoices.
• Maintain and update accounting software integrations and vendor files.
• Post vendor payments, perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Assist in month‑end closing preparation and posting of journal entries.
• Analyze discrepancies, provide recommendations, and post entries from reimbursement tools.
• Maintain client databases and ensure data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting firm.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively.
• High integrity and confidentiality handling sensitive information.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a team.
• Fluency in French and English and eligibility to work in Morocco.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Morocco.
