Accountant

About the role
We are looking for an Accountant to manage and update balance‑sheet schedules, support budgeting and financial forecasting, and assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes. The role works closely with senior accountants and internal users to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and regularly update schedules for balance‑sheet accounts.
- Examine accounting records and produce various financial reports.
- Propose adjustments and reconciliations between the General Ledger and sub‑ledgers.
- Assist senior accountants in their daily tasks and month‑end/year‑end closing.
- Liaise with end‑users to resolve inquiries and provide justification for entries.
- Develop periodic management reports.
- Stay current with financial policies, regulations, and legislation.
- Audit and verify transactions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (mandatory).
- Professional accounting certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
