Accountant

About the role

The company is looking for a diligent Accountant to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, prepare timely financial reports, and maintain compliance with internal policies and local regulations. You will work closely with internal teams and external auditors to support the organization’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and post them to the accounting system.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
• Process supplier invoices, manage payments, and monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances.
• Reconcile vendor and customer statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and analyse variances.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and coordinate with external auditors and government authorities when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3‑5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Moroccan tax regulations is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
