Accountant – Solar Hybrid Project

About the role

The Accountant will be responsible for all bookkeeping, tax, financial and accounting activities related to the Noor Midelt Solar Hybrid 1 project, ensuring the integrity of internal controls and compliance with IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Record all project transactions in the General Ledger in line with IFRS and company policies.
• Prepare monthly trial balances, accruals, provisions and ensure timely month‑end closing.
• Perform bank, customer and vendor reconciliations and maintain accurate balance‑sheet accounts.
• Support external audits and produce required financial statements.
• Generate aging reports for receivables and payables.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, cash management and regular monitoring of bank balances.
• Create purchase orders, match vendor invoices and process payments.
• Oversee payroll administration, employee compensation and timesheet monitoring.
• Produce monthly management reports, budget vs. actual analyses and other financial forecasts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project accounting and month‑end closing.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting.
• Ability to work with accounting software and maintain data integrity.
