Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support the day‑to‑day execution of general‑ledger processes and provide client assistance in understanding these processes. The role involves balancing accounts, reconciling ledgers, preparing reports and resolving discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and standard‑operating‑procedure audits across the property.
• Generate accurate and timely reports and presentations for internal and client use.
• Compile, code, categorize, calculate, audit and verify financial data, including credit‑card ledger balances.
• Verify contracts, perform credit reference checks for direct‑billed groups when required.
• Monitor taxes, document profit and loss statements, and complete period‑end close activities.
• Provide guidance to other units on accounting and budgeting policies and ensure strong internal controls.
• Apply knowledge of return‑check procedures, gross‑revenue reporting, write‑off and consolidated‑deposit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (or an associate degree with two years relevant experience).
• Strong understanding of general‑ledger accounting, account balancing and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems for developing financial spreadsheets and processing data.
