AD Validation Test Engineer (L2-L3 Automated Driving)

About the role

Stellantis is looking for an AD Validation Test Engineer to join its Software Organization (SWx) and support the development of L2‑L3 automated driving features. The role focuses on deterministic validation of customer‑facing functions using simulation tools and test automation.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain scenario‑based test cases for deterministic validation of L2+/L3 features.
• Execute test cases on local simulation environments and toolchains (SIL/HIL).
• Develop test automation scripts in Python and manage test data in an ALM tool.
• Debug and resolve issues encountered during test execution.
• Evaluate new validation pipelines and provide structured feedback to the team lead.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify risks and improve the validation framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an ABET‑accredited university.
• At least 2 years of experience in software DevOps or CI/CD.
• Proven experience with ADAS/AD simulation tools and automated test suites.
• Minimum 3 years of Python programming for test automation.
• Solid understanding of software testing toolsets and execution of test cases.
