Advanced Quality Engineer – APQP / PPAP

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Quality Engineer to lead APQP and PPAP activities for automotive and electronics projects in Morocco. The role focuses on ensuring product reliability, meeting customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes from concept to production.
• Define and monitor product reliability and quality objectives aligned with customer expectations.
• Plan, execute, and improve product design maturity assessments.
• Validate that all development samples meet customer specifications.
• Conduct APQP Quality Gate reviews, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop prototype control plans and special characteristic lists.
• Coordinate PPAP submissions and ensure timely Production Part Approval.
• Create product test specifications and oversee internal verification and validation.
• Lead compliance activities for new regulations, recurrence prevention, and process audits.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in APQP management within the automotive industry.
• Background as a Product Design Quality Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of automotive customer requirements for OTS sample submission and PPAP audits.
• Experience with VDA 6.3 process audits; VDA 6.3 Auditor certification is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
• Proven problem‑solving, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
