Application Developer: Cloud FullStack

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking an Application Developer specialized in Cloud Full‑Stack development. In this role you will create and deploy cloud‑native applications built on micro‑service architectures, working closely with senior practitioners to support clients on their hybrid cloud and AI journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy cloud‑based applications using micro‑service patterns, integrating front‑end, back‑end and middleware components.
• Persist data in NoSQL or relational databases and expose functionality through REST/SOA services.
• Apply DevOps methodologies and tools to automate testing, continuous integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with senior team members to design, build and maintain secure, highly available cloud environments using automation and configuration‑management tools.
• Integrate multiple technologies such as Angular, React, Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, APIGEE and API Connect.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Experience or exposure to cloud‑based application development and micro‑service design.
• Familiarity with multi‑layered development, DevOps practices and cloud environment maintenance.
