Application Specialist – Mineral Processing

About the role

Solenis is seeking an experienced Applications Specialist to support the growth of its mining solutions portfolio across Morocco and the wider region. This customer‑facing technical role focuses on key mining segments such as gold, silver, copper, nickel and phosphate rock, providing hands‑on application expertise and technical support to customers and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical application support to customers, sales teams, and partners throughout the sales process.
• Conduct on‑site technical evaluations, product trials, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Support the development, validation, and commercialisation of new and existing mining solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, trial proposals, and customer recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, R&D, and Equipment teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in mining, mineral processing, or related industries.
• Strong expertise in solid‑liquid separation and process water treatment.
• Experience with mining and heavy‑industry chemical treatment applications.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills; ability to work independently in a field‑based role.
• Willingness to travel extensively across customer sites (up to 50%).
