Application Support Engineer – Relocate to Portugal

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join its team and help maintain critical business applications for leading organisations in banking, insurance, telecommunications and energy. The role is based in Portugal and includes relocation support for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd‑level support for enterprise‑grade applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor, schedule and troubleshoot jobs using Control‑M.
• Maintain and configure Apache web servers in production environments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements.
• Document incidents, solutions and knowledge‑base articles for future reference.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in application support within large enterprise settings.
• Professional proficiency in both French and English.
• Willingness to relocate to Portugal.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to teamwork, customer focus and ethical standards.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Control‑M.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache.
