APQP Coordinator

About the role

Lear Corporation is looking for an APQP Coordinator in Kenitra. The role acts as the main quality contact for customers, manages complaints and warranty claims, coordinates quality submissions and supports new product launches and engineering changes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality contact for customers and ensure effective communication.
• Manage customer complaints and warranty claims, including 8D reports, containment actions and corrective action follow-up.
• Coordinate APQP, PPAP, PSW and IMDS submissions to secure timely customer approvals.
• Support new product launches and engineering changes while meeting customer requirements.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Monitor quality KPIs (IPPM, DPPM, RPPM, warranty, sorting and rework costs) and drive improvements.
• Develop, maintain and review PFMEA, control plans and special characteristics.
• Help production and engineering teams implement and validate corrective and preventive actions.
• Act as the link between the plant, customer sites and resident engineers, and coordinate customer audits.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in a quality or industrial field.
• 5 years of experience in the automotive industry and 3 years in quality.
• Good knowledge of the APQP approach and PPAP.
• Mastery of the 8D problem-solving methodology.
• Fluent spoken and written English and French.
• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
