APQP Engineer – Advanced Quality Planning

About the role

We are looking for an APQP Engineer to lead advanced quality planning activities for our automotive projects. You will act as the voice of the customer, translating requirements into technical specifications and ensuring robust quality processes throughout manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute APQP/ANPQP activities and other customer‑specific quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain control plans, ensuring efficient execution on the shop floor.
• Participate in PFMEA creation and validate tooling and line readiness.
• Consolidate lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Manage PPAP deliverables, PSW submission and approval.
• Lead G8D meetings to resolve customer quality rejections and internal prototype issues.
• Evaluate corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints.
• Provide methodical support to other departments for quality improvement.
• Prepare regular quality reports and support employee evaluations.
• Travel for business as required.

Required profile

• Bac+5 degree with at least 2 years of automotive industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 quality management standards.
• Proficiency in both English and French (spoken and written).
• Results‑oriented mindset with strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
