Arabic Language Expert (AI Training)

About the role

Alignerr is looking for Arabic language experts to evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Arabic-language content. Your linguistic insight helps AI understand, generate and communicate in Arabic. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract open to native and near-native Arabic speakers from any professional background, with a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI-generated Arabic translations and original content for accuracy, fluency and naturalness
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches and cultural issues
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic and culturally appropriate Arabic
• Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
• Work independently and asynchronously, on your own schedule

Required profile

• Native or near-native fluency in Arabic
• Strong written communication in Arabic and English
• Solid command of Modern Standard Arabic with awareness of regional dialects
• Detail-oriented, consistent and self-motivated; no prior AI experience required

Nice to have

• Background in translation, localization, linguistics, journalism or editing
• Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows
• Knowledge of Arabic dialect variation across regions (Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, Maghrebi, etc.)
