Arabic Teacher

About the role

CADMUS International School in Zenata, Morocco, is looking for an Arabic teacher within its Teaching & Academics department. The teacher implements the SABIS curriculum and philosophy and uses the SABIS teaching methods to ensure students' success and help them reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Teach classes using the provided lesson plans (and develop them from the pacing charts when needed) so that the SABIS point system can be used in the classroom.
• Mark exams in line with the schedule and materials provided by the department.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to create a conducive learning environment.
• Proctor exams and manage a proper test environment.
• Support low-performing students through guidance and motivation.
• Help prepare students for external exams by reviewing previous exams according to the revision schedule.
• Take part in activities linked to student life events such as art, open houses and physical education, with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions when requested by school management.
• Help with other duties such as testing students, covering absent teachers, organizing students for lunch and buses, and other administrative tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• English proficiency.
• Professional behaviour, ethical conduct, accountability and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills.
