Architecte Data (H/F)

About the role

The Data Architect will report to the Statistics and Data Management Directorate of a major bank. The role is responsible for defining and evolving the data architecture of the bank’s data platform, covering the full data lifecycle from collection to distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Define the functional architecture of the bank’s data platform and ensure its alignment with the overall data and statistics strategy.
• Contribute to the selection and implementation of data‑architecture solutions (collection, ingestion, processing, visualization, advanced analytics) for various use cases.
• Define and review technical standards related to data (data models, source data, FAIR principles).
• Design processes for data use cases (new data collection, reference data, ingestion) in coordination with business units and the IT department.
• Assess investment needs for implementing and evolving the data architecture.
• Ensure projects align with the target data architecture and support advanced use cases such as Machine Learning and AI.
• Collaborate with the IT architect pool and the information‑security team to guarantee regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in computer science, data engineering or equivalent; TOGAF certification is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar data‑architecture role.
• Moroccan nationality and age under 40.

Required skills

• Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
• ETL/ELT tools, Airflow, Power BI, SAS, Cloudera, Ozone.
• Data modeling techniques (3NF, Star Schema, Data Vault).
• Strong SQL and Python programming.
• Cloud environment expertise.
• Understanding of data security, governance and quality.
• Familiarity with data‑governance solutions.
