Associate Data Science Manager

About the role

The Associate Data Science Manager is responsible for implementing and evolving data domains and products, driving change management and process improvement, and collaborating with product management to create road‑maps that increase engineering velocity. The role also ensures team cohesion, motivation, and delivery of work products on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyse structured and unstructured data sets.
• Manage daily operational activities, allocate resources according to tactical plans, and oversee project teams.
• Provide SMART objectives, clear career paths, and support to operations by defining work instructions and addressing process deficiencies.
• Ensure agile Scrum practices are followed and deliver work consistently, on time and within budget.
• Participate in recruitment planning to meet project staffing needs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, IT Project Management or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project management.
• Fluent in English and French.
