Associate Data Science Manager

About the role

The Associate Data Science Manager will lead the design, development, and implementation of data products and domains that support Leyton CognitX’s AI and technology solutions. This role combines technical leadership with project and people management to drive agile delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and evolve data domains and products to meet company needs.
• Collaborate with product management to define road‑maps and accelerate engineering velocity.
• Ensure team cohesion, motivation, and clear career paths.
• Design processes and systems for consolidating and analyzing structured and unstructured data.
• Oversee daily operational activities, resource allocation, and tactical planning.
• Drive change management, process improvement, and agile Scrum practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, IT Project Management or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2‑3 years in project management.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Curious, honest, ambitious, team‑oriented, innovative, rigorous with an entrepreneurial mindset.
