Associate Field Service Technician

About the role

Diebold Nixdorf is looking for a motivated Associate Field Service Technician to join its technical operations team. The position is fully remote, serving the Dakhla area and the southern region of Morocco, and offers hands‑on training and mentorship in hardware and software support, preventive maintenance, and customer assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Gain practical experience with core field service practices and procedures.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to analyse and resolve complex hardware and software failures.
• Perform detailed component‑level hardware repairs, cleaning and mechanical adjustments.
• Configure, install and update software and related systems.
• Conduct routine system checks, manage consumable refills and handle IMAC/R (installation, relocation, addition, modification, removal) of assets.
• Guide end‑users on proper usage of installed technology and support specialised projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years of relevant field service experience or an equivalent mix of education and work.
• Basic proficiency in reading English.
• Valid driver’s licence that meets Diebold Nixdorf fleet requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools for hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform component‑level hardware repairs and mechanical adjustments.
• Experience configuring, installing and updating software systems.
• Knowledge of routine system checks, consumable management and IMAC/R processes.
