Associate Manager, Distribution & Warehousing

About the role

Lead import‑export, warehouse and distribution activities as the Supply Chain point of contact for Morocco, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations while managing third‑party logistics relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own inbound, outbound and warehouse operational issues, resolving order and delivery exceptions.
• Drive operational excellence across inventory management, warehousing and distribution, including accuracy, on‑time picking, dispatch and order‑to‑cash performance.
• Monitor 3PL warehouse performance on picking accuracy, product freshness, inventory accuracy, loading and proof of delivery.
• Ensure Nestlé Good Warehouse Practices are implemented by 3PL partners and distributors.
• Assess transportation and 3PL service levels against SLAs and operational performance measures.
• Manage daily relationships with 3PL providers, ensuring compliance with Nestlé SOPs.
• Lead safety initiatives across warehouse operations and promote a strong SHE mindset.
• Oversee destruction and write‑off of bad goods in line with Nestlé guidelines.
• Approve and reconcile invoices related to warehouse and distribution activities.
• Control operational spend and support cost‑efficiency initiatives with Supply Chain partners.
• Apply NCE best practices and maintain continuous improvement across warehouse and distribution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Transportation Hub, Cluster Logistics, warehouse team, Customer Solutions and external providers.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of successful operational experience, preferably in a leading logistics or supply‑chain role.
• Strong warehouse management background; FMCG experience is a plus.
• Excellent English and French communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Effective stakeholder‑management and communication across organizational levels.
• Understanding of financial principles for managing and optimizing supply‑chain costs.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, Good Warehouse Practices and supplier management.
• Ability to conduct operational performance reviews with suppliers and execute distribution activities independently.
• Strong computer skills, time‑management, discipline and consistency.
• Curiosity to challenge the status quo with speed, initiative and proactivity in a volatile environment.
