Attributes and Homologation Engineer – Energy and Thermal Management

About the role

AVL is looking for an Attributes and Homologation Engineer focused on thermal and energy management for systems and attributes. The role covers project creation, test planning and coordination, and ensures that validation tests are planned, monitored and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Create integration and validation plans, schedule resources and manage projects
• Prepare and facilitate test planning meetings and coordinate project stakeholders
• Create, monitor, plan and manage physical validation tests through PLM
• Anticipate potential delays and propose corrective actions
• Evaluate completed tests and ensure compliance with established testing processes

Required profile

• Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Embedded Systems
• Strong knowledge of engine operation, ECUs and control systems
• Knowledge of thermal management and energy management
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking and ability to work in an automotive project environment
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to build a professional network
