Automotive Production Manager

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead its automotive manufacturing operations in Tanger. You will be responsible for delivering quality, cost, and delivery targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production activities to meet quality, cost, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Supervise and develop production teams, including supervisors, team leaders, and operators.
• Ensure production plans and schedules are executed while maintaining high operational standards.
• Monitor performance, analyse KPIs, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Guarantee compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Drive Lean, 5S, Kaizen and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
• Identify production risks, resolve operational issues, and support capacity planning and industrial projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of production management experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Proven ability to manage large industrial production teams.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Good understanding of automotive quality and production standards.
