Automotive Requirements Management Engineer – DOORS DXL

About the role

We are looking for an Automotive Requirements Management Engineer specialized in IBM DOORS DXL to support our automotive clients in Morocco. The role involves developing scripts, handling data exchange, and ensuring accurate requirement traceability across component and cross‑sectional domains.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DXL scripts for data import/export in IBM DOORS.
• Create and manage DOORS attributes, validate baselines, and link sub‑modules.
• Implement multi‑export solutions from DOORS to Excel and perform specialized data extraction for reporting.
• Adapt and use VBA macros in Excel for efficient searching, data manipulation, and automated status reports with PowerQuery.
• Support requirement management for Component‑LAH and Querschnitts‑LAH domains, handling versioning and variant configurations throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in the automotive sector.
• At least 2 years hands‑on experience with DOORS DXL scripting, including import/export automation.
• Strong knowledge of requirement management, especially component and cross‑sectional (Querschnitts) areas.
• Proven experience in variant and version management.
• Excellent English communication (C1 level or higher) and ability to work independently.
