AWS Cloud Engineer (Remote - Morocco)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join a leading software engineering consultancy. The role is fully remote within Morocco and focuses on building, automating, and maintaining secure, resilient cloud infrastructure for modern digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise secure, scalable AWS environments for production workloads.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Manage containerised workloads with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term fixes.
• Collaborate with software engineers to embed DevOps best practices.
• Optimise cloud resources for performance, security, cost, and reliability.
• Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate automation and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with core AWS services, networking, and account management.
• Solid background in IaC (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Excellent English communication and ability to work independently in a remote‑first environment.
