B2 Certifying Engineer – Aircraft Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a B2 Certifying Engineer to carry out and supervise line and base‑level maintenance on Air Arabia and third‑party aircraft. The role ensures all work is performed, certified and recorded in line with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review task cards with the Maintenance Manager, gather required documentation, parts and tools.
• Perform scheduled aircraft maintenance on Airbus A320, following approved procedures.
• Conduct aircraft tests, inspections and record any defects or damage.
• Troubleshoot and rectify defects using Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and engineering instructions.
• Sign off maintenance tasks within the scope of the B2 licence, ensuring all paperwork is complete.
• Coordinate communications with engineers and technicians to ensure smooth hand‑over of work.
• Apply mandatory safety precautions, manage human‑factor aspects and protect personnel.
• Support internal customers, supervise technicians and represent Air Arabia professionally.
• Monitor maintenance costs, minimise waste of consumables and avoid repeat work.

Required profile

• Valid B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with company approval for Airbus A320.
• In‑depth knowledge of avionics systems and related maintenance practices.
• Ability to read, write and interpret technical documentation.
