Bar Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Bar Operations Supervisor ensures smooth, safe, and guest‑focused service in the bar area of our resort. Reporting to management, you will lead a team, maintain standards of appearance and service, and handle day‑to‑day operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect staff grooming and attire, correcting any deficiencies.
• Communicate with guests, employees, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and conduct regular inventories of supplies, food, and liquor.
• Check stock levels, requisition supplies, and manage cash bank accuracy.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating staff.
• Enforce company safety, security, and uniform policies while maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and handle telephone etiquette professionally.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Cash handling and bank management.
• Inventory control and stock requisition.
