Board Design Engineer (S‑E‑SE)

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Board Design Engineer to join its Casablanca team. You will be responsible for creating and modifying board designs that meet defined requirements and ergonomic standards, supporting the production of complex wiring systems for the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure board design orders are completed on schedule.
• Create or modify board designs according to defined requirements.
• Analyze and implement internal and customer change documentation following change‑management processes.
• Apply released standards and best practices to board designs.
• Maintain ergonomic compliance of board designs.
• Compile and maintain the bill of materials for assembly boards.
• Identify optimisations and propose improvements for assembly board designs.
• Support Production Preparation in resolving queries during first‑off manufacturing.
• Assist in the release and validation process of the final board design.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (Bac+2) in mechanical engineering, industrialisation or related field.
• Initial professional experience in board design or a related area is desired.
• Fluent written and spoken French.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
