Bulk Operations & Customer Service Specialist (OFR)

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding as an OFR Bulk Operations & Customer Service Specialist in Morocco. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end handling of bulk ocean freight shipments, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, shipping lines and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day import and export bulk ocean freight shipments, placing bookings with shipping lines via the appropriate systems.
• Coordinate with origin and destination offices, sales, depots, customs brokers and truckers to meet customer timelines.
• Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including Bill of Lading instructions, export/import paperwork and customs clearance forms.
• Issue customer invoices promptly (within 4 days of export departure and 3 days of import arrival) and monitor container collection from depots.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and non‑conforming freight, working with shipping lines and the station network to implement corrective actions.
• Track operational performance, gross profit, costs and revenue, and consolidate monthly KPI data for reporting.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in bulk ocean freight operations or a related logistics function.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
