Business Change Manager – IT Infrastructure

About the role

The Business Change Manager will lead the planning and execution of major IT infrastructure transformations, ensuring smooth adoption across the organization. You will act as the bridge between technical architects and business units, translating complex technical changes into clear business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structured change management strategies and actionable plans for infrastructure roll‑outs, including communications, training, sponsorship, and resistance management.
• Identify and manage key stakeholders across business units and technical teams, serving as the liaison between architects and end‑users.
• Conduct impact and readiness assessments for initiatives such as cloud migrations (AWS/Azure), network security updates, and data‑center upgrades.
• Create jargon‑free communication plans that explain the why, when, and how of technical shifts.
• Partner with training teams to design and deliver up‑skilling programs for new tools and platforms.
• Proactively detect resistance points and deploy targeted mitigation tactics.
• Track adoption rates and proficiency metrics to ensure expected ROI is realized.

Required profile

• 5+ years of dedicated change management experience within IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of structured change methodologies such as Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or CCMP.
• Ability to understand and translate infrastructure concepts (cloud, DevOps, SaaS/PaaS, network security, data centers) into business impacts.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for simplifying technical jargon.
• Influential and empathetic interpersonal style, capable of supporting senior leadership and teams experiencing change fatigue.
