Business Change Manager

About the role

The Business Change Manager will lead the planning and execution of change initiatives linked to IT infrastructure transformations. You will act as the bridge between technical architects and business units, ensuring that complex technical shifts are communicated clearly and adopted smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structured change management strategies and actionable plans covering communications, training, sponsorship, and resistance management for infrastructure roll‑outs.
• Identify and manage key stakeholders across business units and technical teams, facilitating alignment between technical and business perspectives.
• Conduct impact and readiness assessments for projects such as cloud migrations, network security updates, and data‑center upgrades.
• Create clear, jargon‑free communication plans that explain the why, when, and how of technical changes to non‑technical staff.
• Partner with training teams to define requirements, design materials, and deliver programs that upskill employees on new platforms.
• Proactively identify resistance points and deploy targeted mitigation tactics.
• Track adoption rates and proficiency metrics to ensure expected ROI and benefits realization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of dedicated change management experience, preferably within IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of structured change methodologies such as Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or CCMP.
• Comfortable understanding of infrastructure concepts (cloud, DevOps, SaaS/PaaS, network security, data centers) to translate technical shifts into business impacts.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical jargon.
• Influential and empathetic interpersonal style, capable of supporting senior leadership and teams experiencing change fatigue.
