Business Control Specialist – Casablanca

About the role

The Business Control Specialist ensures the financial and operational performance of the company by delivering reliable analyses, monitoring budgets, and supporting strategic decisions. Acting as a business partner, the specialist helps optimise resources, improve profitability and maintain compliance with financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and consolidate annual and forecast budgets across departments.
• Implement and track KPIs to measure profitability and operational efficiency.
• Analyse variances between actual results and forecasts, recommending corrective actions.
• Produce regular financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Identify cost‑optimization levers to enhance operating margins.
• Support strategic decision‑making with relevant financial analyses.
• Assist in financial management of investment or transformation projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, accounting and tax regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in finance, controlling, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, business control or auditing, preferably in transportation, logistics or multi‑product organisations.

Required skills

• Financial systems: SAP, SAGE, JDE, Cosy, OneStream.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Power BI (plus).
