Business Transformation Analyst – Finance ERP (EMEA)

About the role

This position serves as a business analyst for finance and operations on a pan‑EMEA ERP implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012/D365, supporting system migrations, testing, roll‑out, and finance process harmonisation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as business process expert for modules such as GL, AP, AR, Ship and Claim, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank.
• Maintain a core model governance structure to manage evolution of finance processes, functional and reporting requirements.
• Harmonise finance processes and procedures across EMEA countries during migration to the new system.
• Perform gap analysis between local systems/processes and the AX core model.
• Review and validate IT‑delivered functional specifications and conduct user acceptance testing with formal sign‑offs.
• Support tool implementation, including AX add‑on modules (e.g., invoice scanning, cash application tools).
• Lead system migrations, end‑to‑end acceptance testing and post‑go‑live support.
• Provide end‑user training on financial process expert areas.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or IT (with finance experience).
• Minimum 3 years in a Finance‑IT role, including ERP implementation experience.
• Multicultural skills and fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Strong communication, proactive attitude, detail‑oriented and stress‑resilient.
