Business Transformation Director Data & AI

About the role

The Business Transformation Director – Data & AI will lead data‑driven transformation programmes for large organisations across the UK and EMEA. You will work closely with senior leadership to translate strategic ambitions into actionable roadmaps that embed data and AI across marketing, CRM, digital and operating model initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define enterprise data strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
• Design data product models and governance frameworks in collaboration with Data Architects.
• Translate strategic ambition into phased, executable roadmaps (semantic layers, unified customer ID, decisioning engines, advanced segmentation, etc.).
• Integrate Data & AI into broader transformation programmes such as marketing transformation, CRM modernisation, digital reinvention and operating model redesign.
• Define how AI, including Generative AI and agentic systems, can be embedded into workflows, decision‑making and activation.
• Contribute to account growth, proposal development and RFP responses, positioning Data & AI as strategic enablers.
• Shape Data & AI components of transformation roadmaps, executive value cases and investment narratives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, CX, Commerce and Technology leaders to deliver integrated propositions and identify expansion opportunities.

Required profile

• Senior‑manager level experience in data‑led business transformation.
• Proven ability to lead client delivery, commercial activity and capability development.
• Strong track record of working with senior leadership on complex, end‑to‑end programmes.
• Disruptive, challenger mindset with passion for excellence and delivering measurable business impact.
