CAD Designer – Mechanical Parts (1-3 years experience)

About the role

We are looking for a CAD Designer to create and develop 3D models for mechanical parts made of sheet metal, plastic, or cast materials, and to produce accurate 2D drawings that meet ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop 3D models for mechanical components and create/update 2D assembly drawings in compliance with ISO dimensioning standards.
• Perform tolerance stack‑up calculations, monitor workload, and ensure adherence to quality processes and deadlines.
• Conduct feasibility studies through the Release Order phase, release documentation in PLM tools such as 3DCOM, and analyze supplier feedback.
• Write progress reports for assigned activities and ensure knowledge capitalization across the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience designing interior and exterior equipment parts, especially plastic components, preferably in the automotive sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CATIA (3D/2D), Siemens NX, and PLM tools (Enovia, Teamcenter).
• Knowledge of ASME dimensioning, injection‑molding design criteria, and feasibility studies.
• Fluent English.
