Calibration Engineer – Automatic Transmission

About the role

We are looking for a Calibration Engineer to develop and fine‑tune automatic transmission shift strategies and related drivability parameters for vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate AT shift strategies, shift‑up/shift‑down scheduling and drivability quality parameters.
• Adjust hydraulic pressures, clutch and torque‑converter settings.
• Execute vehicle tests, analyse measurement data and diagnose CAN‑based drivability issues.
• Optimize and validate calibration data sets while monitoring software versions and releases.
• Collaborate with Software, Powertrain and Validation teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics or Control Systems Engineering.
• Experience in automotive calibration, preferably on powertrain or transmission systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with INCA, MDA, CANalyzer and CANoe.
• Strong understanding of CAN communication and data acquisition tools.
