Civil Design Coordinator

About the role

The Civil Design Coordinator is responsible for leading the design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure for industrial projects. This role blends technical expertise with project execution to ensure that all civil works meet engineering standards, local codes, and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate design, construction, and maintenance of physical and natural environments, including soil mechanics, seismic analysis, and foundation design for equipment.
• Specify design requirements for underground and above‑ground civil works and manage civil contractors.
• Perform cost estimating, constructability assessments, and sequencing of civil activities.
• Apply local civil codes, standards, and engineering principles across structural steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, wood framing, and masonry.
• Conduct analysis and design of industrial structures to resist static and dynamic loads.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proven ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong judgment to propose solutions within established guidelines.
• Experience guiding junior team members and contributing to policy execution.
