Cloud Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Forterro is seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to join its international shared services team. You will design, deploy, and operate highly reliable SaaS platforms on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Automate, configure, and deploy cloud‑based SaaS infrastructure using Terraform, Crossplane, and GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD).
• Own the AWS platform, define processes for SaaS delivery, and optimize spend with FinOps practices.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, observability, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
• Define SLIs/SLOs, manage error budgets, and drive reliability improvements through load testing, chaos testing, and game days.
• Troubleshoot system and network incidents, lead post‑mortems, and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Ensure security posture, compliance, and provide architectural guidance for new workloads and migrations.

Required profile

• Strong technical leadership with experience delivering reliable cloud services.
• Hands‑on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and modern SRE principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with development and platform teams.
