Commercial Manager (Morocco)

About the role

The Commercial Manager will lead Maison De Maa’s commercial growth in Morocco, overseeing sales performance, market development and the execution of local marketing initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on management of the sales and brand teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual commercial and sales plan for Morocco.
• Achieve monthly and yearly sales, revenue and profitability targets across stores, franchise, wholesale and distribution channels.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance by store, product, collection and channel, and define corrective actions.
• Identify new business opportunities, partners, locations and additional sales channels.
• Control pricing, discounts, promotions, margins and track competitor activity.
• Prepare sales forecasts, commercial budgets and performance reports.
• Lead, coach and follow‑up the sales team to meet individual and company objectives.
• Design the local marketing plan and calendar in coordination with Group Marketing.
• Ensure brand guidelines are applied, and execute campaigns, promotions, events and product launches.
• Select influencers, partnerships and collaborations to boost brand awareness.
• Provide market insights on Moroccan consumers, trends and competitors to the Group.
• Coordinate local social‑media and digital marketing requirements.
• Guarantee stores have the necessary POS, display and promotional materials.
• Align marketing activities with product availability and sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 12 + years of experience in commercial, sales or marketing management.
• Strong knowledge of the Moroccan retail and consumer market.
• Experience in fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, luxury retail or FMCG is preferred.
• Proven sales, marketing, negotiation, leadership and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and French; English preferred.
